pindr is a small operation — you're emailing a person, not a ticket queue. write hello@pindrgolf.com and you'll usually hear back within a day or two.
Getting in
I can't sign in
pindr signs you in with Apple, with Google, or with an email and password. use whichever one you signed up with — a Google sign-in won't find an account you created with an email address, even if it's the same address. forgot your password? tap "forgot password" on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link.
if you used Apple's Hide My Email when you signed up, that relay address is your account. signing in a second time without it creates a separate account.
the email never showed up
check spam, then check that you typed the address right. our mail comes from noreply@pindrgolf.com — allowing that sender helps. still nothing? email us and we'll sort it out by hand.
Your account
delete my account
email obi@obiekweokolo.com from the address you signed up with. we delete your account, profile, photos, swipes, matches, and messages within 14 days. backups age out within 30. details are in the privacy policy.
get a copy of my data
same address. we'll send a machine-readable export within 30 days.
turn off notifications
in the app: Settings → Notifications. you can switch off any single category or set quiet hours, so pindr never buzzes you at 2am. you can also revoke push permission entirely in iOS Settings.
Safety
somebody's being weird
block them, report them. the overflow menu (…) on any profile or chat thread has both. no explanation owed, no drama made. reporting isn't snitching — it's course maintenance, and we handle it from there.
if something happened that needs more than a report, email hello@pindrgolf.com and say so in the subject line. those get read first.
meeting someone new
meet at the course — the clubhouse, the range, the first tee. tell somebody where you're playing and who with. anyone rushing you off the app or somewhere private before you've played a single round together is telling you something. the full house rules are on the home page.
The app itself
nobody's showing up near me
pindr launched in washington, dc first, and matching needs golfers nearby to work. widen your distance in filters, or flip on travel mode if you're headed somewhere. if you're outside dc and want pindr in your city, email us — we're reading every one of those.
when is android coming?
iphone first. drop your email on the home page and we'll tell you the day android lands. nothing else.
something's broken
tell us what you were doing when it broke, and what phone you're on — that pair of facts fixes most bugs faster than anything else. a screenshot is gold.
